Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the storyline, while gets off to a good start and then kind of fades away after a while. However, there are plenty of fast paced shooting scenes and other types of action to keep players interested and there are also lots of cool surprises to be discovered while exploring the city. In addition to guns and knives, players also have plenty of other weapons at their disposal, including spray paint cans, which can be used in imaginative ways.

Despite the rather clumsy controls and patchy narration, Tokyo 42 gives gamers a unique way to explore the city of Tokyo.
